    These Rules, which are made under section 14 of the Local Land Charges Act , make detailed provisions relating to the registration of local land charges and other matters registrable in local land charges registers. Rule 2 defines certain terms used in the Rules. A local land charge search must be carried out whenever a property or parcel of land is purchased, leased or valued. We maintain the statutory local land charge register for Cambridge. The register shows restrictions or obligations on a property that go with the land.

      Local Land Charges fees. The information in this guide is a summary of the Local Land Charges Fees (England) Rules (‘the Fees Rules’).
